Is this an antiperspirant? +
No. Antiperspirants block your sweat glands with aluminum salts. We don't want to do that. Sweating is how your body cools itself and releases toxins. This deodorant lets you sweat normally while neutralizing the bacteria that cause odor.
How long does a tub last? +
With daily use, a single tub typically lasts 3–4 months. Because the formula is concentrated, you only need a small amount per application.
Will it stain my clothes? +
When used as directed, small amount, fully absorbed before dressing, it doesn't stain. Using too much can leave a temporary oily mark, but it washes out in a normal laundry cycle.
I have sensitive skin, is baking soda safe? +
We use a low, balanced percentage of baking soda buffered by tallow and jojoba to minimize irritation. Most people tolerate it well. If you know your skin is extremely sensitive to baking soda, start with Belle Plaine (unscented) and apply every other day at first.
Does it really work as well as conventional deodorant? +
Yes, and often better. You won't sweat less (that's the antiperspirant question), but you'll smell fresh all day. Most customers who've tried "natural deodorants" that didn't work are surprised by how effective this one is.
